The TKD Digital Durometer is a user-friendly, high-quality device designed for measuring the hardness of rubber and plastics. It boasts a clear OLED display, straightforward push-button controls, and easy-to-navigate menus. Constructed with a robust metal casing, it’s well-protected against damage, while its rechargeable battery ensures extended usage. This durometer comes with a NIST-traceable calibration certificate, guaranteeing precise measurements.

The device offers three operational modes: peak, timer hold (which captures the creep phenomenon), and real-time. Its Auto Average function computes an average from a selected number of peak readings. Users can transmit hardness data to PCs via USB or store up to 400 readings in its memory. There’s also an optional SW-1-TK software for data acquisition. TKD Digital Durometers are available in standard and long probe versions, powered either by an internal rechargeable battery or an AC adapter. The creep phenomenon refers to the gradual decrease in readings over time after the peak value is reached.
